Game Developers Conference Next 2014 Featuring App Developers Conference Announces Call For Talks And Reveals Theme

SAN FRANCISCO, May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The call for submissions to present lectures and panels at the second annual Game Developers Conference® Next (GDC Next) as well as the featured App Developers Conference' (ADC) is now open through Friday, May 30th. Organized by UBM Tech, GDC Next and ADC will take place simultaneously on November 3rd-4th, 2014 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Conference organizers and the distinguished GDC Next advisory board are programming this year's event to answer the question, "Once you've made your game, what comes next?" Submitters are asked to present high quality talks across five newly revised tracks: Community, Discoverability, Business & Marketing, Production, and Design. Notable app vertical markets covered at ADC include Entertainment, Enterprise, Lifestyle, Brand Marketing and Health & Wellness apps. Today's games market is saturated with new titles, and GDC Next 2014 will feature detailed sessions dedicated to creating future game experiences that stand out in this crowded field. GDC Next aspires to educate attendees to increase discoverability, gain exposure, broaden audiences and differentiate work while increasing fiscal and creative success. Organizers aim to bring the biggest industry leaders and innovators together to share their experiences and insight to inspire game developers and companies to thrive in these areas.

Featured at GDC Next, the second annual ADC focuses on app development outside of games and includes practices on UI, marketing and business. ADC brings together leaders in app development to offer their expertise in their craft, whether apps are marketed toward iOS, Android or other emerging platforms.
