WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Aruba Networks Inc. (ARUN) Thursday reported third-quarter GAAP net loss of $6.4 million, or $0.06 per share, narrower than $20.2 million, or $0.18 per share in the year ago quarter.
Non-GAAP net income for the quarter was $22.8 million, or $0.20 per share, up from $14.0 million, or $0.11 per share in the comparable quarter last year. On average, 31 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.20 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Meanwhile, total revenue for the latest third quarter was $188.79 million, up 28% from $147.14 million in the year ago quarter, while thirty analysts had consensus revenue estimate of $180.80 million for the quarter.
