CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - China will on Wednesday release April numbers for industrial profits, setting the pace for a modest day in Asia-Pacific economic activity. Profits were up 10.1 percent on year in March.
Australia will release Q1 figures for construction work completed and also see April results for the Westpac leading index. In Q4, construction work dipped 1.0 percent, while the leading index was flat in March.
New Zealand will see May data for the NBNZ business confidence survey and the ANZ activity outlook; in April, they saw scores of 64.8 and 52.5, respectively.
