Greenwood Village, Colo. - June 3, 2014 - Ciber®, a global IT consulting company, has named Kim Randers as its new vice president, international human resources. All HR and recruiting teammates within the Ciber International division will report into Randers, who will focus on supporting company growth within the highly competitive IT market by positioning Ciber as an employer of choice.
Randers brings Ciber more than 15 years' experience that covers the entire HR spectrum: organizational development, talent management, compensation and benefits, recruitment, business partnering and more. Ten years of his HR career were spent at First Data Corp., where Randers assumed a variety of roles, including those running transformation, global talent management and, most recently, human resources for the company's International Technology group. Randers speaks several languages and has worked across EMEA, APAC and North America.
"After an in-depth and rigorous selection process, Kim came through as the outstanding candidate for this newly created position," said Tony Fogel, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Ciber. "Our international business operates in a diverse set of competitive markets where the way we attract, develop and retain talented people is critical to our success. We needed to find an exceptional leader to help align HR strategy with business objectives, and Kim's depth of relevant knowledge and experience more than met our brief."
Prior to joining First Data, Randers ran his own consulting company for two years. Before that, he led a number of important initiatives for Nokia, including the design and delivery of a leadership development program that spanned Nokia operations in the U.S., Europe and China.
"I can tell that Ciber is committed to its international operations, and enabling company growth in Europe is a challenge I welcome," Randers said. "This role will leverage much of the expertise I've acquired through technology-oriented HR roles and talent-management activities."
Randers holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Reading in the U.K. as well as two Master's degrees. From the University of Copenhagen, he earned his Master's in Psychology, and at Bedforshire University in the U.K., he earned his Master of Science in Organizational Development.
