CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Australia will on Wednesday release Q1 numbers for gross domestic product, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
GDP is expected to add 0.9 percent on quarter and 3.2 percent on year after gaining 0.8 percent on quarter and 2.8 percent on year in the previous three months.
Australia also will see May results for the AiG Performance of Service index; in April the survey saw a score of 48.6.
New Zealand will release Q1 numbers for value of building, plus May data for commodity prices. The value of building is expected to rise 5.5 percent on quarter after shedding 1.0 percent in Q4. Commodity prices tumbled 4.0 percent in April.
Japan will see May results for the Markit Economics composite and services indexes; in April, they saw scores of 46.3 and 46.4, respectively.
