CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Japan will on Friday release preliminary April numbers for its leading and coincident indexes, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
The leading index is expected to show a score of 106.2, down from 107.1 in March. The coincident is called at 110.8, down from 114.5 in the previous month.
Australia will see May results for the AiG Performance of Construction Index; in April, the index saw a score of 45.9.
Malaysia will provide April figures for imports, exports and trade balance. In March, imports were worth 55.4 billion ringgit and exports were at 65.0 billion ringgit for a trade surplus of 9.6 billion ringgit.
