CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Malaysia will on Wednesday release April figures for unemployment, setting the pace for a modest day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.
In March, the jobless rate was 3.0 percent, while the participation rate came in at 66.9 percent.
The Philippines will provide April data for imports, exports and trade balance. In March, imports were worth $5.42 billion and exports were at $5.28 billion for a deficit of $146 million.
Japan will see May results for its corporate service price index, with forecasts suggesting an increase of 3.2 percent on year following the 3.4 percent gain in April.
Australia will release May numbers for skilled vacancies; in April, vacancies were down 0.2 percent on month.
