CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Singapore will on Monday release an advance GDP estimate for the second quarter of 2014, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Forecasts suggest an increase of 3.0 percent on quarter and 3.5 percent on year following the 2.3 percent quarterly increase and the 4.9 percent yearly gain in the previous three months.
Japan will provide final May numbers for industrial production, with little change expected from the preliminary figures that suggested an increase of 0.5 percent on month and 0.8 percent on year.
New Zealand will see June results for its performance of services index; in May, the index came in with a score of 54.2.
Australia will release May numbers for credit card purchases and balances; in April, they were at A$21.3 billion and A$49.8 billion, respectively.
