(TSX: MAR) ("Marret" or the "Company") announces that it has reported a total comprehensive loss for the three months ended June 30, 2014 of $0.2 million ($0.01 per share) compared to a loss of $6.8 million ($0.35) per share in the second quarter of 2013. Included in the loss for the current quarter is an unrealized valuation writedown of the Company's investment in Cline Mining of $2.1M. For the six months ended June 30, 2014, Marret reported a total comprehensive income of $3.1 million ($0.16 per share) compared to a loss of $8.6 million ($0.44 per share) for the comparative period in 2013. As of June 30, 2014, the Company had total assets of $122.4 million, liabilities of $22.5 million, shareholders' equity of $99.9 million and a net asset value per share of $5.15.
