WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Seattle Genetics Inc. (SGEN) Thursday reported second-quarter net loss of $17.6 million or $0.14 per share, wider than $6.9 million or $0.06 per share last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated a loss of $0.22 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues for the quarter were higher at $68.31 million compared with $73.56 million in the prior year, while fifteen analysts estimated revenues of $64.98 million.
