BEIJING (dpa-AFX) - Chinese online game developer Perfect World Co., Ltd. (PWRD) reported net income for the second quarter of RMB161.7 million or RMB3.21 per ADS, compared to RMB80.7 million or RMB1.65 per ADS for the same quarter last year.
Excluding items, adjusted net income for the second quarter was RMB171.9 million or RMB3.41 per ADS, compared to RMB97.8 million or RMB2.00 in the year-ago quarter.
Total revenues for the second quarter rose to RMB928.4 million from RMB700.1 million in the prior year quarter.
Looking forward, the company forecasts third quarter total revenues of RMB956 million to RMB1.003 billion.
