HAMMOND, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/26/14 -- Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada is providing $59,000 to the Union des cultivateurs franco-ontariens (UCFO) to support a research project on Franco-Ontarian rural and agricultural human heritage. The project will document and highlight the contribution of people who were involved in developing the rural and agricultural heritage of Ontario's Francophone community.
The announcement was made today by Pierre Lemieux, Member of Parliament (Glengarry-Prescott-Russell), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
