Zombie Evasion Run

This Saturday, Zombies will take over North Glenmore Park and attempt to 'infect' those attempting survival. Uninfected participants can obtain extra 'lives' by making a donation to the Calgary Food Bank and/or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
Walmart National Food Drive

From October 2nd - October 12th, Walmart is hosting their annual National Food Drive. Shoppers will be encouraged to donate to local food banks across Canada as a way to support their own community. The Calgary Food Bank will be at Walmart on Saturday, October 4th from 1:00-4:00PM collecting donations and thanking our generous donors.

Continuing throughout the fall and winter seasons, the Olympic Oval is hosting an event with Co-op Stores to fundraise food for the Calgary Food Bank. The event will continue through the winter months, but is starting up this coming Monday, October 6th. October is Co-op Corn Flakes month - if skaters bring a box of this featured item, they skate for free!
Calgary Farmers' Market Thanksgiving Pie-Bake-Off

Continuing the tradition, the Calgary Farmers' Market has partnered with the Calgary Food Bank for a Thanksgiving Pie Bake Off! Participants will get the chance to try 5 different pies and vote on their very favourite. Entry will be by donation, and this donation will go to the Calgary Food Bank. Participating vendors include: A Taste of Quebec, Innisfail Growers, Saskatoon Farm, Simple Simon Pies, and Yum Bakery.
Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival

Partnering with the Calgary Food Bank by collecting food and monetary donations, the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival will provide two fun days of sipping and tasting a collection of wine and food. The event will feature wines from around the world, as well as ports, malts, scotches, and import and microbrewery beers, among other things.
Haunted Calgary

The Campbell family is putting on their annual haunted house, and collecting donations for the Calgary Food Bank! With the theme of "Salem Witch Hunt", this will be a weekend to remember, and all for a good cause.
