CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Singapore will on Tuesday release preliminary numbers for Q3 gross domestic product, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
GDP is expected to expand 1.3 percent on quarter and 2.6 percent on year after adding 0.1 percent on quarter and 2.4 percent on year in the second quarter.
Japan will provide September figures for money stocks and prices for domestic corporate goods.
The M2 money stock is expected to add 2.9 percent on year after gaining 3.0 percent in August, while M3 is tipped to hold steady at 2.4 percent. Corporate goods prices are expected to ease 0.1 percent on month but gain 3.6 percent on year after losing 0.2 percent on month and rising 3.9 percent on year in the previous month.
Australia will see September survey results for business confidence and conditions from NAB; in August, they had scores of 8 and 4, respectively.
New Zealand will release September data for non-resident bond holdings; in August, holdings surged 66.9 percent.
