WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Polycom Inc. (PLCM) reported third-quarter net income from continuing operations of $17.01 million or $0.12 per share, compared to a loss of $23.98 million or $0.14 per share, last year. Non-GAAP net income was $31 million or $0.22 per share, for the quarter.
On average, 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.20 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total revenues decreased to $335.69 million from $336.46 million, a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $334.87 million for the quarter.
