HONG KONG (dpa-AFX) - Asia will release September figures for imports, exports and trade balance, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
In August, imports were worth 358.75 billion Hong Kong dollars and exports were at 327.23 billion HKD for a trade deficit of 31.53 billion HKD.
Japan will see September numbers for corporate service prices, with little change expected from the August reading for a 3.5 percent yearly increase.
Finally, markets in New Zealand are closed on Monday for Labor Day, and will re-open on Tuesday.
