WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Boston Properties, Inc. (BXP) Tuesday reported third-quarter funds from operations of $223.4 million or $1.46 per share, compared to $197.9 million or $1.29 per share last year.
Net income for the quarter was $127.7 million or $0.83 per share, compared with $152.7 million or $1.00 per share last year.
Total revenues for the quarter rose to $618.8 million from $571.5 million a year ago.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report FFO of $1.37 per share on revenues of $584.0 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Looking forward to the fourth quarter, the company expects FFO of $1.23 to $1.25 per share. Analysts currently estimates FFO of $1.34 per share for the quarter.
For the full year 2014, the company estimates FFO of $5.24 to $5.26 per share. Analysts currently estimates FFO of $5.25 per share for the year.
For the full year 2015, the company expects FFO of $5.22 to $5.42 per share. Analysts currently estimates FFO of $5.47 per share for the year.
