BEIJING (dpa-AFX) - 51job Inc (JOBS), a provider of integrated human resource services in China, Thursday reported third-quarter net earnings of RMB187.2 million, or $30.5 million, compared with RMB117.4 million last year.
On a per share basis, earnings for the quarter were RMB2.17, or $0.35, compared with RMB1.95 a year ago.
Excluding items, adjusted earnings per share for the quarter were RMB2.52, or $0.41, compared with RMB2.28 per share in the prior year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.36 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues for the quarter were RMB474 million, or $77.2 million, compared with RMB$419.6 million in the prior year.
For the fourth quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings per share of RMB2.60 to RMB2.80, or $0.42 to $0.46, and revenues of RMB515 million to RMB530 million, or $83.9 million to $86.3 million.
Analysts expect earnings of $0.40 per share for the quarter.
