CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Australia will on Wednesday release Q3 numbers for wage costs, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Wage costs are expected to add 0.6 percent on quarter and 2.6 percent on year - both unchanged from the previous three months.
Australia also will see September numbers for credit card spending and November results for the Westpac consumer confidence index.
Credit card purchases were worth A$22.3 billion in August, while balances were at A$49.5 billion. The Westpac index in October added 0.9 percent to a score of 94.8.
Japan will provide September numbers for its tertiary industry index, plus October results for money stock.
The tertiary industry index is expected to add 0.8 percent after easing 0.1 percent in August. The M2 and M3 money stock numbers are expected to be unchanged from the September reading, at 3.0 percent and 2.5 percent, respectively.
South Korea will release unemployment figures for October, with analysts expecting the jobless rate to hold steady at 3.5 percent.
