WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Tetra Tech, Inc. (TTEK) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $22.6 million or $0.35 per share, down from $25.2 million or $0.39 per share last year.
Revenues, net of subcontractor costs, for the quarter dropped to $462.2 million from $531.5 million last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.35 per share on revenues of $478.6 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Looking forward to the first quarter, Tetra Tech expects earnings of $0.32 to $0.36 per share, and revenues, net of subcontractor costs, of $420 million to $470 million. Analysts currently estimate earnings of $0.37 per share on revenues of $444.28 million for the quarter.
For the fiscal year 2015, Tetra Tech expects earnings of $1.55 to $1.75 per share and revenues, net of subcontractor costs, of $1.75 billion to $1.95 billion. Analysts currently estimate earnings of $1.65 per share on revenues of $1.83 billion for the quarter.
