CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - South Korea will on Thursday release October figures for current account, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. In September, the current account surplus was $5.20 billion.
The Philippines will see Q3 numbers for gross domestic product, with forecasts suggesting an increase of 1.3 percent on quarter and 6.4 percent on year. That follows the 1.9 percent quarterly gain and the 6.4 percent yearly increase in the second quarter.
Australia will see October figures for new home sales and Q3 data for private capital expenditure. New home sales were flat in September, while capex is tipped to dip 1.9 percent after rising 1.1 percent in Q2.
China will provide October numbers for industrial profits; in September, profits were up 0.4 percent on year.
