OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/27/14 -- Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will be joined by official and accompanying delegations on the occasion of the State visits to the Republic of Chile, from November 29 to December 3; and the Republic of Colombia, from December 3 to 6, 2014.
Parliamentarians and Canadian leaders from academic, innovation and business sectors will enhance their relations with their Chilean and Colombian counterparts. These exchanges will further develop the wide-ranging and multi-faceted relationship with Chile and Colombia, partner markets for Canada, and will provide greater impetus to bilateral initiatives in various areas, particularly in strategies promoting education, innovation and trade.
