CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Thailand is scheduled to release a raft of data on Monday, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. On tap are December figures for consumer and producer prices, as well as consumer confidence.
Consumer prices were down 0.12 percent on month and up 1.3 percent on year in November, while core consumer prices added 0.11 percent on month and 1.6 percent on year.
Producer prices fell 0.5 percent on month and 1.7 percent on year in the previous month - while the consumer confidence index had a score of 79.4.
Japan will see December results for the manufacturing PMI from Nomura; in November, the index had a score of 52.0.
Australia will see December figures for the manufacturing PMI from AiG; in November, the index had a score of 50.1.
