WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) reported fourth-quarter net income to shareholders of $6.2 million, compared to $0.4 million, prior year. Profit per share was $0.16, compared to a loss of $1.71.
On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss per share of $0.26 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenue increased to $1.22 billion from $1.21 billion last year. Analysts expected revenue of $1.24 billion for the quarter.
