WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (CF) Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $238.3 million or $4.82 per share, down from $325.8 million or $5.71 per share last year.
Net sales for the quarter dropped to $1.22 billion from $1.33 billion last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $5.08 per share on revenues of $1.16 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
