CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/20/15 -- PetroMaroc Corporation plc. (TSX VENTURE: PMA) (the "Company" or "PetroMaroc") is pleased to announce that further to the Company's news release dated January 14, 2015, the Company has completed its shares-for-debt settlement with one of the three holders of the Company's Cdn$9.7 million principal amount of debentures (the "Debentures"). Under this settlement, PetroMaroc issued 789,772 common shares of the Company (the "Shares") at a deemed price of Cdn$0.06 per Share in satisfaction of making a cash payment to the debenture holder in the amount of Cdn $47,386.30, which was due and payable on December 31, 2014. The number of common shares issued and outstanding following this issue total 101,938,808.
The Shares were issued on February 20, 2015 and are subject to a hold period expiring on June 21, 2015.
The Company will proceed to complete the shares-for-debt settlement with the two other holders of the Debentures following approval of the settlement by the TSX Venture Exchange.
