WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Nektar Therapeutics (NKTR) reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of $45.7 million or $0.35 per share, compared to a net loss of $47.7 million or $0.41 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Revenue for the fourth quarter fell to $19.6 million from $31.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2013.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.36 per share on revenue of $17.27 million for the fourth quarter.
