BEIJING (dpa-AFX) - Chinese online travel services provider Ctrip.com International, Ltd. (CTRP) reported a net Loss for the fourth quarter of RMB224.4 million or RMB1.60 per ADS, compared to net income of RMB261.5 million or RMB1.68 per ADS for the year-ago quarter.
Excluding Excluding share-based compensation charges, adjusted loss for the latest quarter was RMB0.70, or US$0.11, per ADS.
Net revenues for the fourth quarter rose 33% to RMB1.91 billion, or US$308.37 million, from RMB1.44 billion in the same quarter last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of US$0.28 per share on revenue of US$304.78 million for the fourth quarter.
For the first quarter of 2015, the company expects to continue the net revenue growth year-on-year at a rate of about 40-50%.
