WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - American States Water Company (AWR) reported net income of $12.1 million, or earnings per share of $0.32 for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, compared to net income of $11.0 million, or earnings per share of $0.28 for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.29 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total operating revenues were $100.93 million, compared to $101.95 million, prior year. Analysts expected revenue of $103.80 million for the quarter.
