WARKWORTH, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/09/15 -- Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada is providing $6,500 in funding through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program for the 5th edition of Warkworth Art (& Music) in the Park. This two-day arts and heritage festival is presented by the Warkworth Business Association in the Municipality of Trent Hills, Ontario.
Rick Norlock, Member of Parliament (Northumberland-Quinte West), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

-- This year's festival will take place May 16 and 17 and will feature over 70 artists, artisans and heritage performers, including the return of performers who have been present at every previous edition of the festival. -- The event includes musical performances, storytelling and art displays, as well as heritage walking tours that showcase some of the unique architectural features of the area.
