WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Agricultural nutrients maker Mosaic Co (MOS) on Wednesday said it has named James 'Joc' O'Rourke as president and chief executive officer, effective August 5.
O'Rourke will replace James Prokopanko, who will serve as senior advisor until his planned retirement on January 4, 2016.
O'Rourke has been serving as Mosaic's executive vice president - operations and chief operating officer since 2012; he joined the company as EVP-operations in 2009. Prior to that, O'Rourke was president, Australia Pacific for Barrick Gold Corp.
