WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Online-video streaming service Netflix Inc. (NFLX) plans to expand into Italy and Portugal in October 2015.
They will join Netflix's list of about 50 countries that already receive service, 13 of which are fellow European nations. The company plans to expand to 200 countries by the end of next year.
On Thursday, Netflix announced that it would arrive in Spain in October 2015. This autumn, Internet users in Spain would be able to subscribe to Netflix and instantly watch a broad selection of TV series and movies in high-definition or even Ultra HD 4K on nearly any Internet-connected screen.
