WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Wintrust Financial Corp (WTFC) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net earnings of $43.8 million or $0.85 per share compared with $38.5 million or $0.76 per share last year.
Revenues for the quarter were $233.9 million compared with $203.3 million in the prior year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.81 per share on revenues of $223.4 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
