WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Equifax Inc. (EFX) Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $111.0 million or $0.92 per share, up from $92.8 million or $0.76 per share last year.
Adjusted earnings for the quarter rose to $1.15 per share from $0.96 per share last year.
Revenues for the quarter increased to $678.1 million from $613.9 million last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $1.10 per share on revenues of $66328 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
