WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Camden Property Trust (CPT) reported that its second-quarter net income attributable to shareholders increased to $36.1 million from $35.3 million, a year ago. Earnings per share was $0.40, flat with prior year. FFO per share was $1.12 compared to $1.05.
On average, 22 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $1.10 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total property revenues increased to $220.65 million from $208.49 million, a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $219.21 million for the quarter.
The company now expects 2015 FFO per share in the range of $4.47 - $4.57. Analysts expect the company to report earnings per share of $4.48.
The company expects third-quarter FFO per share in the range of $1.12 - $1.16. Analysts expect the company to report earnings per share of $1.13.
