WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - American States Water Company (AWR) reported second-quarter net income of $15.6 million, or $0.41 per share, compared to $15.4 million, or $0.39 per share, last year.
On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.41 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenue decreased to $114.62 million from $115.64 million last year. Analysts expected revenue of $118.40 million for the quarter.
