LARGO, MD -- (Marketwired) -- 08/05/15 -- MGT of America will host the final public hearing for the Prince George's County Disparity Study. Hired by the Office of Central Services Supplier Development & Diversity Division (SDDD), MGT of America, Inc. is conducting a disparity study to measure the success of the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and County Based Business (CBB) programs in Prince George's County and the impact these programs may have on winning contracts. The ultimate goal is to provide fair opportunities for all firms interested in doing business with the County. More information is available at www.princegeorgescountydisparity.com.
The public hearing will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015, from 10:00 a.m.-12 Noon at 1801 McCormick Drive, Suite 140, Largo, MD, 20774. Immediately following the hearing, County partners will discuss upcoming contract opportunities from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Businesses that have worked with or attempted to work with Prince George's County, their primes, or in the private sector are invited to attend a public hearing to share their experiences. This is the last public hearing for the study. Business participation in the remaining anecdotal data collection, i.e. interviews, surveys, etc., is a random selection process, therefore area businesses may not have another opportunity to share their experiences.
