WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Nektar Therapeutics (NKTR) reported a net loss for the second quarter of $52.7 million or $0.40 per share, compared to a net loss of $32.6 million or $0.26 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Revenue in the second quarter fell to $22.7 million from $28.5 million in the second quarter of last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.40 per share on revenue of $21.49 million for the second quarter.
