WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Accuray Inc (ARAY), a maker of radiosurgery and radiation therapy systems, on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net loss of $5.6 million or $0.07 per share compared with a loss of $9.8 million or $0.13 per share last year.
Revenues for the quarter were $101.8 million compared with $102 million in the prior year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated a loss of $0.04 per share on revenues of $102.4 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
For the full year 2016, the company expects a loss of $29.2 million to $19.3 million on revenues of $395 million to $410 million.
Analysts expect a loss of $0.15 per share on revenues of $408.4 million for 2016.
