Like the Grandstand, barns, and Midway, Health Fair 11 at the Fair has become a fixture at the Minnesota State Fair. This year, fairgoers will find a wide variety of screenings and health resources available under one roof.
More than a dozen organizations are joining forces inside the Health Fair 11 at the Fair building to provide blood pressure checks, glucose readings, blood typing, hearing assessments, and even flu vaccinations for the whole family. Medical professionals will offer hands-on CPR training, poison prevention education, and stroke awareness information. There will be opportunities for face-to-face consultations with the people behind Minnesota's MNsure program. Health insurance enrollment and eligibility screening will also be available onsite.
Fairgoers can pick up an extensive list of gluten-free foods available at the Minnesota State Fair. Information on food allergies will also be available. Finally, fairgoers will find a place to rest and relax while recharging their mobile devices on three available charging stations with comfy chairs positioned alongside.
