SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/14/15 -- Adesto Technologies, a leading provider of application-specific, feature-rich, ultra-low power non-volatile memory products, today announced that it has added semiconductor industry veterans Francis Lee and Kevin Palatnik to the company's Board of Directors. The company also noted that Pete Thomas and Matthew Boyle, current members of the Adesto Board, have resigned from their respective positions.
The two new directors bring decades of diverse management experience at leading semiconductor companies to the Board.

Mr. Lee currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Synaptics, a supplier of human interface solutions. During his tenure at Synaptics, Mr. Lee served as Chief Executive Officer and President of the company. Prior to joining Synaptics, Mr. Lee was General Manager of NSM, a Hong Kong-based joint venture between National Semiconductor Corporation and S. Megga. Prior to NSM, Mr. Lee held a variety of executive positions for National Semiconductor. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in electrical engineering from the University of California at Davis.
Mr. Palatnik was Chief Financial Officer at voice-technology provider, Audience (recently acquired by Knowles Corporation). In his role at Audience, Mr. Palatnik was responsible for managing the company's finance organization worldwide. Before joining Audience, Mr. Palatnik served as the CFO at Cadence Design Systems, Inc., where he also led the investor relations, information technology and workplace resources groups. Prior to joining Cadence, Palatnik was the CFO for a private application service provider, and held a series of senior financial roles at IBM. Palatnik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering and operations research, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University.
