OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/19/15 -- A gun salute will be fired to mark the beginning of the 2015 Army Run. The firing is scheduled to commence at approximately 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on September 20, 2015 in Confederation Park, Ottawa to denote the start of the 5 km and half marathon runs. Local residents and visitors downtown may notice loud noises near Confederation Park cause by one 105-mm C3 howitzers from 30th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery.
