The transaction includes a USD 500 million bond due in September 2020 and a USD
500 million bond due in September 2025, with coupons of 2.875% and 3.875%
respectively.
The transaction is A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S' second USD bond offering and both tranches are expected to be rated BBB+ by S&P and Baa1 by Moody's. The net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Underwriters were BNP PARIBAS, BofA Merrill Lynch, Credit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank Securities, and J.P. Morgan.
