NORFOLK (dpa-AFX) - Norfolk Southern (NSC) on Tuesday said that Charles 'Wick' Moorman will step down as executive chairman of its board of directors, effective October 1, and will be replaced by its President and CEO James Squires.
Moorman will continue to serve as a director until retiring from the board at the end of this year.
Squires joined Norfolk Southern in 1992 and served in numerous law, finance, and administration positions before being named president in 2013 and CEO in March 2015.
