Dr. Bajwa has deep ties with the region, having been born in Pakistan and educated in Lahore where he attended Nishtar Medical College of the University of Punjab. Graduating in 1976, he received a gold medal for first position in surgery and appeared on the honor roll for best graduate. He served as a lecturer in Forensic Medicine and Pathology at King Edward Medical College in Lahore for several years before pursuing a career in neurosurgery. He was awarded a position as Resident in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and has been contributing to the American medical world for almost 30 years.
Dr. Saeed Bajwa is a member of 11 professional medical societies, including the World Federation of Neurological Societies, and lectures to undergraduate and post-graduate students in New York.
