CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Malaysia will on Wednesday release December figures for consumer prices, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Consumer prices are expected to add 0.3 percent on month and 2.8 percent on year after gaining 0.6 percent on month and 2.6 percent on year in November.
Australia will see January results for the consumer confidence index from Westpac. In December, the index slid 0.8 percent to a score of 100.8.
Japan will release December numbers for convenience store sales; in November, sales were up 0.9 percent on year.
