WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Oceaneering International Inc. (OII) reported a profit for fourth quarter that retreated from last year.
The company said its bottom line totaled $57.37 million, or $0.58 per share. This was lower than $102.47 million, or $0.99 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.58 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 21.4% to $722.07 million. This was down from $918.93 million last year.
