CANBERA (dpa-AFX) - Australia will on Friday release December figures for home loans and credit card purchases, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Home loans are expected to rise 3.0 percent on month after adding 1.8 percent in November. Card purchases were worth A$25.6 billion in November, while balances were at A$51.3 billion.
Also, the markets in Taiwan and China remain closed for the Lunar New Year; both will re-open on Monday.
