PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - February 20, 2016) - Arizona Pest Squad is proud to announce that they received certification as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the City of Phoenix. The DBE certification is in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).
The SBE program certifies firms to participate in city of Phoenix business opportunities available for small business owners located in Maricopa County. The DBE designation is broader and is valid for work with the City of Phoenix as well as all U. S. Department of Transportation contracts for highway, transit and airport programs. These include funding from the Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Transit Administration and Federal Highway Administration. The certification is valid on all contracts that specify the utilization of DBE subcontractors.
"Arizona Pest Squad is proud of obtaining certification as a Small Business Enterprise and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise," says David Marshall, CEO of Arizona Pest Squad. "These designations provide a level playing field to good businesses that want to participate in government contracts. We look forward to establishing Arizona Pest Squad as a preferred vendor for the City of Phoenix, ADOT and prime contractors that are looking for a highly rated pest management partner."
