BEIJING (dpa-AFX) - China Distance Education Holdings Ltd. (DL) reported a profit for first quarter that declined compared to the same period last year.
The company said its bottom line came in at $4.62 million, or $0.130 per share. This was down from $4.84 million, or $0.135 per share, in last year's first quarter.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 13.5% to $24.37 million. This was up from $21.47 million last year.
